THROWBACK-Hong kong / Bangkok / Singapore

Just incase I forgot everything abt my trip, i better note down a lil.

A pic of us waiting for the fireworks.
TBH, HK disneyland was a disappointment.
The only thing Im happy abt is that we manage to go on ride with the q of 15 mins only.
It wasnt that crowded for rides.
The q for pictures are longer than q for rides.
The buildings in the disneyland is a turn off.
Look at the building behind us.
Half of it looks like its made out of cardboard.
But the fireworks are worth it.
I cant wait to go to Disneyland and Disneysea tokyo next !

Waited for the day time parade.
Not a disappointment. I was so happy that I thought im a kid again :)

One thing i def miss in Hong Kong is the food there.
Especially dim sum in One Dim Sum.
We tried Tim Ho Wan too, but it was mehhhh and the service are really rude !

And few weeks after our Maldives trip, we went to Singapore for this gundam event Marcus wanted to go.
Huge Huge gundam also available in Odaiba, Tokyo.
Wishing Tokyo's one is bigger than this. hehe

A month later, I gave Marcus a surprise bday trip to Bangkok.
Also benefits me because i get to go shopping. HAHAHHA.
It was a last minute one because we actually planned to celebrate it here , but im like .... He brought me to so many places and gave me so much surprises and happiness, so why not?
I booked a vry nice dinner place called La Table de Tee, the food was really good!
and also vry affordable for a fine dining meal.
We still went for street food hunt after our meal, cause , there's always space in your tummy when you're in Bangkok!

Also booked a hotel at The Berkeley Hotel, Pratunam.
It was huge, with a open air bathtub and shower.
The best part is, its right opposite Platinum Mall and right above pratunam street market.
So convenient ! :D
But I was having fever till 39 degree 2 days before my flight :(
I was vomiting whatever I ate during my first two days.
Note to self : no more diet before flight!

Had a vry last minute plan to Singapore last week.

For foods in MA MAISON !!!
I miss this so so so much.
We were at JB visiting Marcus's mom and I was craving for escargot in Ma Maison,
so.... we went to Singapore just for this. hehe.
Escargot, wagyu steak, fillet mignon , strawberry tart & banana caramel tart .
It was tooo yums! :d

I cant wait to go back to Japan and have all the sushis and snow king crabs,
During my last day in Osaka this January , i was crying when we were on our way to the airport.
Surprised, Marcus asked me what happened.
I answered  ' i havent even experienced snow and we had to leave. ''
Yes, not even once during the 22 years of my life.
And Marcus answered  'dont worry, i will bring u back to Japan this year, you will have the white christmas you always wanted, and we will stay longer. ''

So, here we are, preparing for our white christmas, 18 days in Japan, in 20 days :)

Thank you for always bringing me around for the past 2 years.
Bringing me to places I never had a chance to go previously.
Experiencing so much, learning so much.
I cant wait to travel more with you and to create more memories with you.
Thank you, thank you for even planning to bring my parents for a holiday.
It was hard convincing my parents to go on a holiday with us but you manage to.
Most importantly, thank you for loving me for who i am.

Maldives 2015

Heallo from Maldives ! 😁
I havent done with Japan post and havent start woth Hong Kong post.
And im now starting on Maldives post.
No worries ! I'll start on HK soon .
Hehe.!
This year's summer, we decided to visit Maldives for a short getaway.
Supposed to be Australia, but Marcus couldnt get any extra leaves, so 5 days in Maldives! :D

Chose Chaaya Resort Dhonveli for our stay.
Over water bungalow/suite. I dont rmb which is it.
And the view from our bed! So pretty!!
We also can go into the sea directly from our balcony.
For the price it will be 2k plus per night for 2 person. Including meals. But u have to pay for your own drink. Wtf. Drinks are only provided during  breakfast .
Everything in USD. 500ml of plain water cost us 2.50usd. This is even more expensive than my petrol back home. -.-
We actually asked for a family suite and they charged us 10k per night -.-
So we decided to just get 2 rooms and pay 6k lesser for 4 of us. Hahahaha.

Our night view 😍
The stars and moon are shining every night!
Maldives is def a place where no filter is needed .

Sunrise

And sunset.

Everyday makan place. Haha.!
Everything is so clear isnt it?
We're quite disappointed with the food.
Everything is either too salty or tasteless.
So we didnt really give much hope on the food after the 2nd day.
But the food during the 3rd and 4th day improved. So i guess it might be short of staff during the 2nd day.

Surfers side.
Quite impressed how they dare to surf along the big waves.

And we're already talking abt our 2nd trip to Maldives. HAHAHAHHA.
Probably years later. I doesnt wanna get anymore sunburnt 😢
Clear Blue skies.
Clear blue water.
And dark us...

2014

As everyone has been talking about their 2015 resolution and what to leave behind in 2014, here i am to write abt it, 2 months later. I've been blogging so much abt places and food, that i akmost forgot abt resolutions !
So here i am now, to blog abt them because i did this every year. Wth.

Firstly, hello!! IM BACK FROM HONG KONG!
Here's us, at Disneyland Hong Kong.
My first Disneyland to be honest :x
I will blog abt Hong Kong and Singapore after finish blogging abt Japan ! :)

This was my resolution written early of 2013. Lolololol. And I couldnt do much during 2013 so it have to be extended till 2014! -.-
This notebook was given to Marcus after i resigned because its still full of notes which is useful for him as we handled the same agencies. Somehow probably Marcus has been looking through my notes, because he actually made few of them happened.
Including visiting japan, korea and shopping in thailand.
And all of us know , BACKSTREETBOYS are comjng to malaysia on the 3rd of May.
I was soooooo excited because we found out when we're in hong kong, and marcus said to buy the tickets online the moment its launch.
Can you imagine , when we find out the date, and Marcus told me that its a no to Backstreetboys...... because this guy went and buy tickets to Maldives on the same day ! Surprise and heartbreak at the same time... I waited for Backstreetboys since I was 5. Yes, im a fan since 5. They debuted since the year i was born, 1992, and when i was 5, my mom used to buy me backstreetboys albums. Im crazy abt Nick Carter's look, crazy abt Brian's voice, crazy abt Kevin's stare, crazy abt Aj's charisma, crazy abt Howie's smile . I waited for almost 20 years ! Can you imagine i cried so hard after finding out that we wont be able to make it to backstreetboys concert that Marcus asked me do I wanted to cancel Maldives... haihhh.
I wouldnt choose. I cant choose either.
So Marcus ended up singing all Backstreetboys songs for me for days because I have to missed out their concert :(

Anyway, what isnt in my resolution was learning how to cook .
I think somehow our past motivates me to push myself a lil harder .
Im spoiled, im pampered.
My parents may own a restaurant, but i have a maid at home that will do all for me previously.
We stop having maid after i started working in Dksh.
Yes, i wouldnt know how to cook, wouldnt know how to clean up as well.
But i wanted to do the best for Marcus.
So, i learnt all from my parents and of course, google :p

Surprising him with lots of bacons for lunch

Made dinner for 6

First time making winter soltice dinner as well.

With tong yuns ! 😊😊

Another one is starting up The Bakezilla.
From hobby turned passion and a job.
Im still fluttered by words left by all my customers .
All those hard works do pay off.

Also took some challange to create more cute cakes for all because i never wanna crush any dreams.
There's few times i rejected orders because of my schedule.
And the replies from my customers are "pleaseee. I really wanna get the cakes from you".
So, being the soft hearted one, i always say yes in the end.
My customers are pampered by me !

I started off my 2014 in Langkawi with my colleagues.
Then headed to Krabi for our first trip, a little shopping paradise in Bangkok, dream country in Korea and counting down in Japan.
Its been such an adventourous year !

Last but not least , having someone like him.
I remember how he msg me one day during my leave, "i like you, simple and nice. Not too serious and fun."
All i did was replying him with "really? HAHAHAHAHHAHAHA!"
But im still glad we manage to work things out.
Its always abt tolerating.
We do argue at times. Wth. Because of all the miscommunication we had.
We are both bananas but we speak mandarin with each other. Ended up as miscommunication because we no sure what are we both trying to say.
If you ask me why wouldnt we communicate in English, we did, but we turn back our channel to Mandarin half way. 😕
But at the end of the day, we apologize to each other and laugh abt it.
Saying sorry is very very important.
Marcus told me how someone wouldnt say sorry to him no matter what and he have to say all the sorry. And i used to face someone like that too.
So im glad we always do hug each other and say "sorry" and "im sorry too" at the end of the day.
Funniest thing is everyone always tell me how someone used to close to Marcus look very diff from pic and real person.
So one day Marcus actually told me that " not only that. If u see make up and without make up, you will shock and get a heart attack. hak sei ngo. Felt cheated abit."
Wtf... this guy. I was laughing so hard when i heard him saying all these, so i asked him do he felt cheated by me?
And we realize how im bareface when i first met him and was suffering from my lung infection that time.
You see, short conversation like this always make us laugh and communicate more.
We could just laugh abt anything or everything with the silliest gestures.
Also strictly no "you're my bf, so you have to do the dishes for me".
I always asked first , say please and thank you.
And he will wash the dishes happily. HAHAHAHHA!
So thank you for swollowing this little brat here, old man.
Thank you for making my 2014 so happening.
Lets cheers for a better year 2015 for both of us ! 😙

Osaka Museum of Housing and Living

We took a walk through time and experience of the history of Osaka on the 4th day .
The museum is located at the 8th floor,  right above Tenjimbashi-suji Station.
600yen per person for entrance fee.
They also provided locker for you to put in your jackets, bags and monopod.
Yes, we cant bring our selfie sticks in :/

You can view the whole ''village'' from the 10th floor.
Its known as the observation floor. LOL.

Seasonal display for you to take pic or use it as a prop to take picture .

There's kimono for rental as well . 200 yen per person if not mistaken.

And while I was taking the picture above, a korean couple asked me for a picture.
I thought they wanted me to take a picture for them so I hand out my hand and ask for their camera.
........
very embarrassing , I know. -_________-
Apparently , the korean girl wanted me to take a picture with her.
I have no idea why, and I didnt asked why, so I just nodded my head and said '' daeee. kamsahamnida'' .

This is my handsome Japanese man
(。♥‿♥。)

Big Bang studying . Hmmmm.

Before heading out, we were amazed by these little sculptures.
So details and smooth.

Right next to the Osaka Museum, there's a street call Tenjibashi-suji Shopping Street which claims to be the longest shopping street in Japan.
Its 2.7km. Marcus purposely bought me a shoes without soles so I could walk comfortably for 2.7km. LOL.
But most shops were closed , probably because its a Sunday.
So i didnt manage to fight for 2.7km. LOL.
We stopped by to have some nabe for lunch.
I had soymilk soup while Marcus had his porkbone soup :)
I couldnt choose which one I prefer more.
Both are sweet and aromatic . Goes well with meat and vege provided.
The veges are free flow buffet btw :)

Frozen face and frozen smile because it was 0 degree that day  and it was raining -_____-

We went to one of the underground shopping mall and i was star strucked by these super cute desserts !

My parfait ! :)
Now u know why I bought 2kg on my tummy home :(
Caramel flan and fruits parfait !

And a plate of pancakes :)

At night, we went back for Dotonburi for dinner.
EVERY NIGHT .
We planned to have crab for dinner.
There are 3 crab restaurant in one street but 2 of them were fully booked when we asked for a seat.
And finally we found the 3rd one, it wasnt fully booked but we have to wait for a while to be seat.
I willing to wait for all these fresh crabby !

We had set for 2 person.
Crab sushi is not included.
We ordered ala carte for this.

Raw snow crab and raw king crab .

Boiled snow crab

Crab tempura

Broiled snow crab

And Crab roll !

Nowonder its fully booked everywhere !
All the crabs are really really fresh .
Now i want to have crab for dinner :(

As expected, I couldnt finish blogging about Japanese trip before my next trip.
I'll be back soon and blog moreeeee.
Marcus want me to turn this blog into a food and travel blog .
Which means.... more food and travel ! yayyyy ! :D
But i actually wrote it all down here because Im afraid I wanted to look for old pictures and memories one day.
One click and I could find it all here :)
