Osaka Museum of Housing and Living

We took a walk through time and experience of the history of Osaka on the 4th day .
The museum is located at the 8th floor,  right above Tenjimbashi-suji Station.
600yen per person for entrance fee.
They also provided locker for you to put in your jackets, bags and monopod.
Yes, we cant bring our selfie sticks in :/

You can view the whole ''village'' from the 10th floor.
Its known as the observation floor. LOL.

Seasonal display for you to take pic or use it as a prop to take picture .

There's kimono for rental as well . 200 yen per person if not mistaken.

And while I was taking the picture above, a korean couple asked me for a picture.
I thought they wanted me to take a picture for them so I hand out my hand and ask for their camera.
........
very embarrassing , I know. -_________-
Apparently , the korean girl wanted me to take a picture with her.
I have no idea why, and I didnt asked why, so I just nodded my head and said '' daeee. kamsahamnida'' .

This is my handsome Japanese man
(。♥‿♥。)

Big Bang studying . Hmmmm.

Before heading out, we were amazed by these little sculptures.
So details and smooth.

Right next to the Osaka Museum, there's a street call Tenjibashi-suji Shopping Street which claims to be the longest shopping street in Japan.
Its 2.7km. Marcus purposely bought me a shoes without soles so I could walk comfortably for 2.7km. LOL.
But most shops were closed , probably because its a Sunday.
So i didnt manage to fight for 2.7km. LOL.
We stopped by to have some nabe for lunch.
I had soymilk soup while Marcus had his porkbone soup :)
I couldnt choose which one I prefer more.
Both are sweet and aromatic . Goes well with meat and vege provided.
The veges are free flow buffet btw :)

Frozen face and frozen smile because it was 0 degree that day  and it was raining -_____-

We went to one of the underground shopping mall and i was star strucked by these super cute desserts !

My parfait ! :)
Now u know why I bought 2kg on my tummy home :(
Caramel flan and fruits parfait !

And a plate of pancakes :)

At night, we went back for Dotonburi for dinner.
EVERY NIGHT .
We planned to have crab for dinner.
There are 3 crab restaurant in one street but 2 of them were fully booked when we asked for a seat.
And finally we found the 3rd one, it wasnt fully booked but we have to wait for a while to be seat.
I willing to wait for all these fresh crabby !

We had set for 2 person.
Crab sushi is not included.
We ordered ala carte for this.

Raw snow crab and raw king crab .

Boiled snow crab

Crab tempura

Broiled snow crab

And Crab roll !

Nowonder its fully booked everywhere !
All the crabs are really really fresh .
Now i want to have crab for dinner :(

As expected, I couldnt finish blogging about Japanese trip before my next trip.

Osaka Castle

We visited a street in osaka that sells games and toys.
I forgot what its called but its full of gundam, nintendo, ps games , etc etc.
Look at this giant gundam and ultraman.
They have kamen rider too x)

One of the best ramen I've ate.
Im not a fan of ramen because i always prefer udon over ramrn.
But this is really really good.
We choose our meal from a vending machine, get the tickets and a seat.
When the waiter/waitress assist you, all you do is to show them your ticket .
We only ordered one bowl of ramen because we doesnt want to overeat since i never once finish my food :x

Also ordered a plate of gyoza  ! :D

Marcus say I dont look so happy when my food arrive

So i showed him this ! :D

Headed to Osaka Castle after that.
The nearest station to Osaka Castle is  Osakajokeon Station, 10 minute and 160yen ride from JR Osaka Station.
We were welcomed by these ninjas doing their thing.
I wasnt impressed to be honest.
Because im not 3 :x

The Osaka Park is very famous with picnic during cherry blossom season i heard.

And there you have it ! Osaka Castle right behind.

And yes, we can enter the castle with 600yen per person :)

All these reminds me of Night of the Museum .
It will be more interesting if you could understand Japanese because everything seems so interesting but we dont understand .
We can only read the boards which has English on it.
But there's videos as well !
Too bad we dont understand them :(

The view from the observation deck.

This grill squid and corn is a definitely must try !
Also try their sweet potato and takoyaki !
Do not try their crepe. It was so bad. They made the crepe in advance.
So when i took a bite, it was all cold and soft :(

We head back to Dotonburi for our dinner.
Told you we go to Dotonburi everyday. LOL.
Had bbq meat for dinner. This restaurant is right opposite where we had our sushi.
We had our dinner here twice as well. hehehhehe.

This is one of the stall in Dotonburi street.
By China man. Hugeeee and juicy scallop!

I've been so so busy the moment i landed .
Its been 2 weeks since im back and its been 2 weeks my dad has been in and out the hospital.
I felt so so lucky that my dad went through the operation safely.
I felt so so lucky that Marcus is always there not only for me, but for my family as well.
He requested to leave work early and send my dad to the hospital every single time.
I dont have time to blog, i dont have time to bake.
My mom was with my dad in the hospital everyday.
Marcus , me and my brother woke up as early as 5am to be at the hospital with my dad.
We went home as late as 12am.
The scene in the hospital is definitely what I expected it to be.
People wailing, screaming, crying, running around, rushing around.
Everyday Im scared.
I pray for all the health and safety.
I pray for peaceful and harmony.
All these makes me realize, what we eat and our lifestyle , do affect our health.
Im glad everything turn out well.
And now everything is back to normal.
Till then, I'll be back for more. :)

Nara Park Japan.

OHAYO !
*still in my japan mood*
:(
Our nearest subway station is Shinsaibashi station, which is just 5 minute walk, or less than that .
To be at Nara , you can take the train to Kintetsu Nara station for 30 minutes walk or 45 minutes walk from JR Nara Station.

And we were welcome by these cute desserts the moment we stepped into Nara street (。♥‿♥。)

Nara is a place where people go for praying. We did some praying as well.
Tossed a coin in to the box, rang the bell and make a wish
:)

And also its full of deers !!
Marcus purposely bought me this deer hairband so I can take pic with the deers there.
Such creative boyfriend x)
Its my first time seeing a deer.
I cant hide my excitement when Im there.
You can also buy special deer crackers for only 150 yen to feed the deers.
We didnt buy it because i saw the deers licking the clothes of ppl who were holding the crackers.
I DONT WANT THEM TO LICK ON MY CLOTHES T___T

Tried selfie with a deer but failed -.-
They wouldnt stay still.
And if you realize , there's something behind Marcus. Look at the shadow in the photo below.
A deer was pushing him when we trying to selfie with another deer x)

So we tried to pull it along to selfie with us, but as you can see, its a fail one
-________-

All it wanna do was to rub its head on Marcus's knee.
So i told Marcus, '' dear, u have a new deer trying to manja you now.''
HAHHAHAHAHA
if you get what i mean :x

Look at the backgroud !
Look like fake background right ??
I miss having deers walking around me already T.T
We even saw some of the deers crossing the street . LOLOLOL.

Oh, I used to have this too. Let me smell is it mineeee.

After having our romantic deer moments, we went into To daiji temple for more praying.
To-daiji temple is one of Japan's most famous and historical temple.
Also known as the landmark of Nara.
500 yen per person for the museum only.

We were welcomed by the Big Buddha at the main hall.
You can also see 2 fierce looking statue, representing Nio Guardian Kings before you go into the temple.
We also bought some prayer charms from the temple for 500yen each.
There are varieties of charms to choose from, like for health and long live, for traffic accidents, for studies, for wealth , for good luck, for business.
I took healthy and long live charm for my parents and traffic accidents for my brother.
While choosing, I asked Marcus is there any charms he want.
Surprisingly , he chose love and marriage charm.
o__o
I actually asked him why love and marriage .
He answered for us.
I swear I was blushing that time. LOLOLOL.

While on our way to look for food, we spot a happy deer ! :)

I forgot what name is this restaurant , but it was the same row as Daiso and the shops that sells cute food with deer printing .
I ordered a pork, shrimp and oyster set.

Marcus ordered black pork set.
As you can see the small bowl on the right, it is actually a sesame seed.
We have to crush it ourselves, added some sauce provided, dip our meat, and ta-dahhhh, you'll have the best meat ever!

Random shots of pretty night light at the street of Osaka.
It looks really really pretty but i couldnt get the best shot because of my height .
*^%$#$#%^

I heard Big Bang's song playing somewhere while we were searching for America mura street.
I turned around and saw this hugeeeeee Big Bang poster !
I kept singing, and obviously that distracted me.
Ended up Marcus have to look for the street himself because I was having my fangirling moment.

America Mura street is quite a disappointment to be honest.
We were'nt impressed with the clothes and shoes there.
So we decided to just stop by for crepe before heading back to Dotonburi.
It was the best crepe everrrrr !

Caramel crepe, with green tea ice cream, whipping cream and chewy balls.
*droolsss*

Headed back to where we had our sushi during the first day.
Marcus had like 3 -5 plates of blue fin tuna and tuna belly.
Yes, it is that good.
Im not a fan of tuna, but i have to admit, it is very impressive !

And more fresh salmon! :D

This is the highly recommended sushi restaurant.
Obviously I couldnt tell you whats the name because I cant read mandarin or Japanese. LOL.
Its somewhere near Forever 21!
Just few shops away.
After done eating, we went and shop inside the 5 storey Forever 21 to digest our stomach and wallet a little . hehe.

Not to forget , we also leave our signature in Nara.
:)

Till then, I'll be blogging more about this trip.
Do you know whats next ?
:D
